Quick Gestures

Here are a couple more gestures.  I was fooling around with my camera in my room, trying to see if I could get good results on my own.  I don't love any of these, but maybe some of you will find them helpful.

sorry I've been AWOL lately, I haven't been modeling much the past couple of weeks, so i don't really have many more pics to share.  Here are some quick gesture poses.  I only have one or two angles for each, so I hope they're enough.

Perched

One of my professors was really excited about this pose, unfortunately, i only got a few pictures of it before my camera ran out of space, so I'm sorry it's not a complete set of pics.  On the bright side, I think we got most of the coolest angles of this pose.

Hi There!

Hello to everyone who is now or might be looking at this blog.  I don't intend to write very much, i want this blog to mostly be where i put up pictures of myself as figure drawing reference material.  As a way of introduction, you can call me Dave.  I work as a model at Brigham Young University, and I have some of the professors for the figure drawing classes that i work for take pictures of me when they have a few seconds durring classes.  As an artist myself, I know the value of good scrap photos, and how difficult they are to come by.  I can't guarantee that these are the best pics, some might be fuzzy, and they're not lit fantastically, but I can twist into and hold some pretty cool poses, and my naturally freakish metabolism lets you see muscles and bone structure that you might not see very often on other models.

Just a few more things here before I put up these pics for you.  I'm doing this because I want to, if you do something to make me no longer want to, this blog is going to disappear.  You will only find pictures of me on here, unless another model from the department decides later that they want to add to it too, so sorry if you don't want to draw the male figure, you're not going to find anything else here.  Also, BYU has a pretty strict dress code, so these are NOT nude photos, I'll be wearing a speedo in all of them.  Still, I don't want these pictures of me to be leaked all over the web, so please don't steal them, or share them.
